As a singer-songwriter, Robert has lived and performed
in San Francisco, the Black Hills of South Dakota, Chicago and Key West,
where he once lived on an old sailboat.
Born and raised in Iowa,
Robert grew up playing piano, guitar and acting in community theater.
His recent acting credits include the lead role of "King" in a major community
musical production of The King & I and an artillery officer in the
Disney movie Hidalgo, filmed on-location in South Dakota. Robert
studied liberal arts at the University of Iowa, earned a bachelor degree
from the University of South Florida and a Juris Doctor from the University
of South Dakota.
Robert met his wife,
Dr. Andrea M. Scremin, in Key West and they were later married on the
Island. The couple now lives near the beach in Redington Shores,
Florida, with their son Griffin and their big yellow lab, Mr. Hatfield; but they escape to Key West every chance they get.
